Goodbye 20″ iMac G5

Earlier this week Apple dropped the 20″ iMac G5 from online stores in the UK, Europe and Japan. This follows shortly after the drop of the 17″ early in February. This means the Intel chips are here to stay, with three models that support the new chips: Mac Mini, MacBookPro and the iMac. The only machines left with the old IBM chips are the G5 Power Pc and the iBook, this however could change as rumour has it that an introduction of new machines could take place on April 1st (Apples 30th Birthday). I guess we will have to wait and see.

So long iMac G5, we salute you!
